STRUGA · Men's Silver Chains
A chain that carries weight and holds its own — not a backdrop for a pendant.
A men's silver chain should have mass and honesty. Every STRUGA chain is 925 sterling silver, cast link by link in lost-wax and assembled by hand in Bali. Nothing is plated, so nothing wears off — the silver ages into a dark Living Silver patina instead of flaking. Forms run from heavy signature links to cross pendants and blade-split chains.
These are unisex by construction and worn most often by men: a solid link sits flat on the chest, takes a collar open or closed, and reads as an object rather than an accessory. No hollow tubes, no filler — the weight you feel is the silver you paid for.
Men's silver chains — straight answers
What length suits a men's silver chain?
50–55 cm (20–22") sits at the collarbone and works over a t-shirt or under a collar; 60 cm (24") drops to mid-chest for a heavier statement. Most STRUGA chains can be cut or extended to order — write us before you buy.
Is it solid sterling silver, or plated?
Solid 925 sterling silver throughout — cast by lost-wax, no plating, no base-metal core, no filler. The mass is real silver, which is why each link holds its shape under daily wear.
Will the silver tarnish?
It is meant to. STRUGA silver is left uncoated, so it develops a Living Silver patina that deepens in the recesses and keeps the highlights bright on the raised edges. A polishing cloth restores it whenever you want; rhodium plating, by contrast, only hides the silver until it wears through.
Can a STRUGA chain hold a pendant?
Each chain is built as an object in itself, but the links take a pendant cleanly — the cross forms (Cross Bloody, Cross V.4) pair naturally, and the carabiner clasp lets you add or swap a charm without tools.
