About STRUGA
STRUGA was founded in 2018 by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova.
It began with a desire to make artifacts that stay with their owner for a long time — perhaps for a lifetime.

Dmitry Strugovshchikov
Dmitry has worked as a designer and entrepreneur since 2008. STRUGA started in 2018 because no silver brand had the structural vocabulary he was looking for — dark, systematic, material-honest. He built the design language from scratch: five permanent worlds, eleven families, each piece placed at a specific coordinate in the catalog.
His practice is material-specific. Every STRUGA object is cast from a wax model in 925 sterling silver — the same alloy, no plating. The silver is meant to change over time. That's what Living Silver means at STRUGA: the object records how it's been worn.
He works between Stavropol, Russia and Bali, Indonesia, where handcraft production runs under PT STR BALI GROUP.

Ekaterina has been part of STRUGA's design practice since the brand's founding in 2018. She works on the Russian side of the project from Stavropol.

STRUGA created its own worlds and families
Every STRUGA piece belongs to one of five worlds — permanent design territories, each with its own language. Within the worlds live eleven design families: every piece is part of a vocabulary, not a standalone product.
